[ARCHIVED] Schuyler County Public Health Names Jill Wendela Employee of the Year

Schuyler County Public Health named Jill Wendela, a Public Health Nurse with the Department, the 2017 Employee of the Year.

Jill Wendela, RN, MS, manages Schuyler County Public Health’s programs for lead poisoning prevention and immunizations. She also serves as the Department’s Accreditation Coordinator and in that role guided Schuyler County Public Health through the process of applying to become a Federally accredited health department.

In addition to her work, she was selected as Employee of the Year because of her commitment to quality improvement and ethical practices. “Jill Wendela is committed to making sure the department is doing the best it can to improve the health of the community” Marcia Kasprzyk, Schuyler County Public Health Director said.
