April 21 through 28 is National Infant Immunization Week this year! National Infant Immunization Week (NIIW) is an annual observance to promote the benefits of immunizations and to improve the health of children.
Did you know?
- Through immunizations we can now protect infants and children from 14 diseases before age two
- In the 1950’s nearly every child developed measles, and unfortunately, some even died from the serious disease. Today, many practicing physicians have never seen a case of measles
- Routine childhood immunizations save lives and save money
- Vaccines are safe and effective
Check with your child’s doctor to make sure they are up to date!
